Winther’s interdisciplinary practice spans sculpture, installation, performance, and video, often integrating character development, textiles, choreography, scent and sound. She creates immersive works that explore human relationships with oneself and the surrounding world, focusing on themes of kinship, upbringing, labor, and power structures—particularly within institutions like education and the welfare state. As a mother of two, she have a strong interest in the societal role of motherhood.
